What does blockchain verification actually mean?
Every credential is cryptographically hashed and recorded on the Polygon public blockchain at the moment it's issued. This creates a permanent, tamper-proof record. Employers can verify credentials by scanning the QR code — it links to trustcred.co.uk where the original details are confirmed instantly.
How long does onboarding take?
Standard onboarding (TrustCred template) is ready within 24 hours. Pro onboarding with your existing certificate design takes 48 hours. We'll keep you updated throughout.
What happens when a certificate expires?
The verification page clearly shows the certificate as EXPIRED. With the expiry reminder add-on, TrustCred automatically emails the student 30 days before expiry, prompting them to rebook with you.
Is my student data safe?
Yes. TrustCred is registered with the ICO under UK GDPR. We never sell or share student data. A Data Processing Agreement is included with all plans. Data is stored securely in the UK.
